David also guided the strategic effort to rationalize and reduce product lines and vendors to capture purchasing benefits, supplier market support services and preferred pricing with strategic mill partners.

David’s base skills and consultative approach were built during a 20 year career at Scott Paper Company.  His career began with a series of key positions in manufacturing and supply-chain planning and then  3 year appointment as task group leader in the implementation of an in-house $12MM ERP system (with a 2 year ROI). It was from this role that he was recruited to the Scott Away-From-Home Div., progressing through a series of responsible field sales, staff positions and international, all directed at leading profit improvement in Sales and Marketing.   He worked closely with a 350 rep sales force to improve earnings through the effective use of the Levers of Profitability – price, volume, mix and cost
