Corporate Leader for Kirby Arnold & Associates Workshops
Roberto has had over 20 years of domestic and international corporate responsibility. His experience focused on international consumer goods and pension funds companies. Currently, he is a business consultant for start-up organizations, and for his own printing company, which delivers to the advertising industry.
Roberto’s corporate experience career began in marketing. He later moved on to sales and distribution, and became CEO of an international subsidiary of Pepsi. Serving in key executive roles for leading brands such as Marlboro, Pepsi, Xerox, Quaker Oats, AIG and Santander Funds, Roberto’s innovative strategies, together with his commitment to profitability, resulted in:
* The launch and distribution of Xerox’s non-photocopy products, improving the offer in the office segments.
* The re-positioning of Marlboro with new, non-cowboy advertising and promotional strategies.
* The development of summer products for Quaker Oats for a consistent, year-round cash flow.
During his tenure in sales, Roberto managed various sales teams, and his reps were responsible for both volume and revenue goals. As a CMO in the pension fund business, he implemented cross-selling programs for shareholder products. His experience also includes restructuring organizations and integrating company philosophies and corporate cultures during mergers and acquisitions.
After leaving his corporate career, Roberto began working as an independent management consultant in order to share his considerable knowledge of multiple business disciplines — though he maintains his passion for improving sales and marketing organizations. His key skills lie in the execution of profit improvement initiatives, optimizing short-term profits with long-term growth.
Roberto holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has studied marketing, finance, and executive management at San Francisco State University. He is fluent in Spanish and English, with a working-level knowledge of Portuguese.
