Jonathan Doctor is currently serving as Chief Operations and Financial Officer for The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute, a comprehensive cancer care services organization. In addition to this role, Mr. Doctor is acting Managing Director for The Angeles Clinic Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing cancer research and education throughout the nation. Prior to The Angeles Clinic, Mr. Doctor served as Chairman, CEO and President for PracticeXpert Inc.- a company he co-founded in 1999 and sold in late 2006. Jonathan grew this company from scratch to a 30 Million dollar run rate enterprise which provides practice management services and technology to over 1500 physicians in 45 states. PracticeXpert has core expertise in medical and radiation oncology. He helped raise over 10 million in equity and pipe financing. The company was taken public in 2003 through a reverse merger.

Prior to PracticeXpert, Mr. Doctor served as Founder and CEO of Care Delivery Solutions, a healthcare technology company which he, shortly after founding, sold to Parkstone Medical Solutions, a venture backed healthcare technology company. Before Care Delivery Solutions, Mr. Doctor served as Vice-President, Salick (now Aptium Oncology- a subsidiary of AstraZeneca) HealthCare’s technology and managed care unit. While serving in this capacity, Mr. Doctor was responsible for inventing and guiding the development of OMARS (On-line Management and Assessment Reporting System). This system operated as a “web-based” authorization and utilization management tool which facilitated real time authorization decision-making between provider and payer. Prior to joining Salick Health Care, he served as Vice-President of Operations & Principal for Value Oncology Sciences- an Oncology Disease Management and Practice Management Company. Value Oncology Sciences was a spin-off of Value Health Inc.- later acquired by Columbia/HCA.

Mr. Doctor has a technology and healthcare services background, and has served in a variety of management positions for Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, Health Net and Value Health Sciences. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MPH from Yale University School of Medicine and an MBA from the USC Graduate School of Business. Mr. Doctor is also a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.

Mr. Doctor is also a member of YPO ( Young Presidents Organization) and sits on the Board of The GoldenWest Chapter. Mr. Doctor was also recently appointed as a Board Member for the Group Purchasing Organization of MOASC ( Medical Oncology Association of Southern California.). This GPO is a newly formed entity dedicated to help Oncologists deal with the shrinking margins associated with in office chemo infusion.
